How It's Made:
Each pendant starts as a single heart — one half open filigree, one half solid — so the engraved names sit clearly against a smooth surface while the openwork keeps the piece light on the neck. The birthstones are set individually, one beside each name, then the whole piece is polished by hand and checked against your order before it ships.

FAQ
How many names can I engrave?
Between 1 and 6. Each name gets its own engraved line and its own birthstone beside it. Choose the number first, then the name fields appear.
Can two names have the same birthstone?
Yes. If two of her children share a birth month, just select that same stone twice — it's very common and looks completely natural on the pendant.
What if I misspell a name?
Email us at support@getengravings.com with your order number within 12 hours of ordering and we'll correct it before engraving begins. If the error is ours, we remake the piece free of charge.
Will it turn her skin green or tarnish?
The necklace is made from stainless steel with a silver finish for durable, everyday wear. To help maintain its appearance, remove it before swimming, showering, or showering and avoid prolonged contact with water and chemicals.
How long is the chain?
The bead chain measures 18 inches with a 2-inch extender, so it adjusts between 18" and 20". On most adults it sits just below the collarbone — high enough that the engraved names stay visible above a neckline.
