Are the birthstones real gemstones?
They are bright cubic zirconia stones cut into hearts, in the traditional color for each birth month. They sparkle like gemstones and keep the ring at a gift-friendly price.
Which color is each birth month?
January dark red, February purple, March light blue, April clear, May green, June light purple, July red, August olive green, September dark blue, October pink, November yellow, December blue. The color chart is in the photos above.
How much can I engrave on this birthstone promise ring?
Two names of up to 8 characters each on the outside, and up to 20 characters inside the band, including spaces. Short names of 3 to 6 letters look the clearest. A date like 06.14.2024 also fits inside.
How do I find her ring size?
Borrow a ring she wears on the same finger and measure the inside diameter: about 17.3 mm is size 7, 18.1 mm size 8, 19 mm size 9 and 19.8 mm size 10. Between two sizes? Choose the larger one.
Can I use both our birthstones as a promise ring?
Yes, that's the most popular way to order it: your name and birthstone on one heart, hers on the other. You can also use it for a mom with two children, or two best friends.
How long does shipping take, and can I fix a spelling mistake?
We make it in 3–4 business days, then USPS takes 5–9 business days (about 8–13 business days in the US). For Christmas, order by December 1. Email support@getengravings.com within 12 hours of ordering to fix a spelling.
