How many names can I engrave?
Between 1 and 6 — each name gets its own interlocking ring. Select the number of rings above and a name field will appear for each one.
How many characters fit on each ring?
Up to 12 characters per ring, including spaces. Longer names are engraved in a slightly smaller font. If a name is longer than 12 characters, we suggest using a nickname or first name only.
Will the engraving fade or rub off?
No. The names are laser-engraved into the metal itself, not printed or stamped on the surface. They stay readable for the life of the piece.
Can she wear it in the shower?
Yes. The base metal is water-resistant and won't tarnish or turn skin green. We'd still suggest keeping it away from perfume, chlorine, and harsh cleaning products to protect the finish.
What if I misspell a name?
Contact us at support@getengravings.com within 12 hours of ordering and we'll correct it before production starts, free of charge. After production begins we can't re-engrave, so please double-check spelling before checkout.
When will it arrive?
Each necklace is engraved to order, so allow 4–5 business days for production, plus your chosen shipping time at checkout. Ordering for a specific date? Choose Express shipping and email us — we'll flag your order for priority production.
Can I add more rings later?
The rings are permanently interlocked, so extra rings can't be added to an existing piece. Many customers order a new necklace when their family grows — or start with all the rings they'll need.

Personalized / custom orders
Because each item is made to order for you, returns are limited once production has started.
- Cancellations: please contact us within 12 hours of purchase.
- After production: if a refund is requested for a personalized item that has already been made, a 30% restocking fee applies (the piece cannot be resold).
- Custom pieces made to your specifications follow our exchange process when eligible.
