How many characters can I engrave?
The outer ring holds up to 40 characters, including spaces and punctuation. The character counter below the engraving box will show you exactly how much room is left as you type.
Can I customize the inner disc instead of the outer ring?
The inner solid disc is pre-engraved with "Mom" or "Dad" — you choose which one at checkout. The outer ring is the part you personalize with your own message. This layered contrast is what gives the pendant its dimensional look.
Is this necklace safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. It's made from premium quality stainless steel, which is skin-friendly, will not rust, and will not turn skin green — even with daily wear.
Can I wear it in the shower or while swimming?
Stainless steel is water-safe, so an occasional shower won't harm it. We do recommend keeping it out of chlorinated pools and away from perfume or lotion, which can dull the engraving's finish over time.
Can I buy the Mom and Dad necklaces together?
Absolutely — they're designed as a matching pair. Add one of each to your cart and both will be engraved and shipped together in gift-ready boxes.
How long will it take to arrive?
Each piece is engraved to order, which takes 4-5 business days. Standard shipping then takes 12-20 working days, and Express takes 5-9 working days. Your estimated delivery date is shown at checkout once you select a shipping method.
What if I make a spelling mistake?
Contact us at support@getengravings.com within 12 hours of ordering and we'll correct it before production starts. Once engraving has begun, the text cannot be changed.
