Our Baby Feet Necklace with Names & Birthstones holds two little feet, side by side. Each foot is laser-engraved with a child's name and set with a brilliant birthstone in their birth month's colour. Not a name from a catalogue. Their name, in your handwriting of choice, made only after you place your order.

Every piece is handmade to order. When your order arrives with us, your children's names go to our engraving bench and the birthstones are set by hand. It takes 4–5 days to craft, because a name spelled permanently in metal is worth getting right. Choose a warm gold plated finish or a bright silver color, on a chain from 16" to 22".

These items are handmade and customizable. They are made to order.
- Choose your finish - Gold Plated or Silver Color.
- Choose your chain lengt - 16", 18", 20" or 22". Not sure? 18" is our most popular — it sits just below the collarbone.
- Type the left foot's name - Up to 10 characters. It will be engraved exactly as you type it, including capitals.
- Choose that child's birth month - The stone colour matches the month — see the birthstone chart.
- Repeat for the right foot - Second name, second birth month.
- Check your spelling, then add to cart - Engraving is permanent, so please read both names once more before you continue.
How many characters fit on each foot?
Up to 10 characters per foot, including spaces. Longer names are best shortened to the version you actually call them — "Christopher" becomes "Chris", and it looks better on the pendant anyway.
Can I choose a different birthstone for each foot?
Yes. The left and right birthstones are selected separately, so each child gets their own birth month colour.
What if my children were born in the same month?
Simply choose the same stone for both feet. Twins look lovely with matching stones.
Which chain length should I choose?
18" (45cm) is our most popular for adults — the pendant sits just below the collarbone. Choose 16" for a closer fit, or 20"–22" if you prefer it lower or wear it over a jumper.
Can I put a name that isn't a child's name?
Of course. Many customers use it for grandchildren, a partner's name, or a single name repeated on both feet. It is your piece.
Can you engrave accents or special characters?
Our engraving uses standard English letters (A–Z) and numbers only. Accented letters such as é, ñ or ü cannot be engraved, so please enter names in their plain English spelling — José as "Jose", Zoë as "Zoe", Sofía as "Sofia". If you are unsure how a name will look, email us at support@getengravings.com before you order and we will confirm it for you.
How long until it arrives?
Because each piece is engraved after you order, allow 4–5 days for crafting, then 12–20 working days for standard shipping. Express shipping (5–9 working days) is available at checkout if you need it sooner.
Will it tarnish?
Like all plated jewellery, the finish lasts longest when it stays dry. Remove it before showering, swimming and sleeping, keep perfume and lotion off the pendant, and wipe it with a soft dry cloth. Treated this way it holds its shine for a long time.
What if I made a spelling mistake?
Contact us at support@getengravings.com within 12 hours of ordering and we will correct it before production begins. Once engraving has started, the name cannot be changed.
