- Type each name exactly as you want it engraved. Up to 8 characters per bead. We engrave it letter for letter — including capitals — so double-check the spelling. Nicknames work beautifully here.
- Pick each child's birth month. Match each name to the right stone. Nothing is pre-selected, so choose one for every name.
- Add to cart and check out. We start engraving within 24 hours. You'll get a confirmation email, then a tracking number the moment it ships.

How many names can I add?
Up to 8. Each name gets its own sliding bead with its own birthstone. Price goes up $5 per additional name.
How many letters fit on one bead?
Up to 8 characters. The beads are 7.3mm, so shorter names and nicknames engrave the most clearly. "Emma" looks sharper than "Alexandra".
Will it turn her skin green or tarnish?
No. The core is stainless steel, not brass or copper alloy, so it won't tarnish or leave marks. The plating stays brightest if you keep perfume and lotion off it.
Can she wear it in the shower?
Yes — handwashing, showers, rain, all fine. We'd take it off before chlorinated pools and hot tubs, since chlorine is hard on any plated finish.
Are the birthstones real gemstones?
They're high-clarity simulated birthstones, chosen to match each month's traditional colour. They hold their colour and don't cloud over.
When will it arrive?
Production takes 4–5 business days because each bead is engraved to order. Standard shipping is 12–20 working days after that; Express is 5–9 working days. Standard is free on orders over $59.95.
Can I add more names later?
The beads are fixed to the hoop once assembled, so we can't add to an existing piece. If the family is still growing, many customers order one bead more than they currently need.
What if I misspelled a name?
Email: support@getengravings.com within 12 hours of ordering and we'll correct it before engraving starts, free. After production begins we engrave exactly what was submitted, so please check carefully at checkout.

Because each item is made to order for you, returns are limited once production has started.
- Cancellations: please contact us within 12 hours of purchase.
- After production: if a refund is requested for a personalized item that has already been made, a 30% restocking fee applies (the piece cannot be resold).
- Custom pieces made to your specifications follow our exchange process when eligible.
