Should I choose Color Print or Black & White Print?
Color Print shows your photo bright and clear, just like on your phone, and is the easiest to see. Black & White Print gives a classic, fine-line look on the polished steel and shows best with high-contrast photos and good light.
Is the photo engraved deep into the metal?
No. The photo sits on the surface of the tag so faces keep their fine detail; only the back message is engraved. If you want the photo to stand out the most, choose Color Print.
What photo works best on a photo dog tag keychain?
A sharp, well-lit close-up of one to three faces in portrait (upright) orientation. The tag is 40 × 23 mm, so large group shots and dark photos lose detail.
What can I engrave on the back?
Up to 22 characters: English letters, numbers and heart symbols (José becomes Jose). Ideas: a name and date like "Emma 21/09/2017", "My key to happiness" or "Love you Mom".
How long does shipping take?
We make it in 3–4 business days, then USPS takes 5–9 business days. For Christmas, order by December 1. Shipping is free on US orders over $59.95, so three keychains ship free.
Can I change my order or return it?
Email support@getengravings.com within 24 hours to change your photo or message. Because each keychain is made just for you, we refund or replace it if it arrives damaged or with our mistake. Let us know within 30 days of delivery.
